Tuscaloosa, Ala. – With the start of a new academic year, the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) at The University of Alabama proudly introduces its 2025 Executive Board, a dynamic team of student leaders committed to unity, service, and advancing the legacy of NPHC at the University of Alabama
The NPHC at UA serves as the governing body for the university’s eight historically Black fraternities and sororities, each founded on principles of scholarship, service, and cultural uplift. The new executive board embodies these values, working collaboratively to foster a vibrant and inclusive NPHC community on campus.
At the helm is Ahmad Bennett, serving as President. A News Media major with a minor in Political Science from Troy, Alabama, Ahmad is a Spring 2024 initiate of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated.
Supporting him in the role of Vice President is Treasure Mulkey, asenior Biology major on the Pre-Med trackfrom Houston, Texas. Treasure is a Fall 2023 initiate of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Handling the council’s finances is Malcolm Tate, this year’s Treasurer. Malcolm is a senior Accounting major from Detroit, Michigan, and a Fall 2024 initiate of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated.
As Director of External Relations, Kaleigh McGrew is focused on cultivating meaningful partnerships and visibility. A senior studying News Media and Spanish from Gilbertown, Alabama, Kaleigh is a Fall 2023 initiate of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Parliamentarian Darriana Thompson, a senior Chemical Engineering majorfromHeadland, Alabama, ensures that meetings and decisions are guided by fairness, structure, and tradition. She is a Fall 2023 initiate of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Serving as Secretary is Kamiyis Jackson, a senior Finance major with a minor in Real Estatefrom Phenix City, Alabama. Kamiyis is a Spring 2024 initiate of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.
Rounding out the team is Lindsey Stinson, Director of Public Relations. Lindsey is a senior studying Marketing and Political Science with a minor in Social Welfare from East Birmingham, Alabama, and a Fall 2023 initiate of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Together, this group of leaders is focused on building connections, empowering students, and advancing the initiatives of NPHC at the University of Alabama.
